Your Tutor
Chris Wreaves, Founder of Become a Genius Tuition
Hi, I’m Chris. Teaching has always been something I’ve wanted to do and been good at – I’ve often had friends, family and colleagues come to me for help with maths, stats, Excel or using a computer and they’ve always appreciated my clear and patient way of explaining things.
After completing my degree in Maths & Statistics from the University of Warwick in 2015, I spent 10 years working as a statistician for a major UK company, working on huge datasets every day and presenting complex statistical analysis in simple terms to big business leaders and regulators. Over that time I’ve honed and refined my approach to teaching, and have now started Become a Genius Tuition because I want to give my expertise to students to make a difference to their lives.
(You can view a reference from my statistician job here and my degree certificate here.)
If you think you can’t do maths, stats, Excel or computing – I’m here to show you you can. You’re not dumb – you just need the right foundations, the right perspective and the right guidance. I’m here to give you that, and I’m excited to show you just what you can achieve.
Don’t just take our word for it…

The No AI Guarantee
At Become a Genius Tuition, we care about providing you with authentic and high-quality tuition, and believe that’s best achieved when we put in the hard work and do things properly.
We don’t think using AI aligns with these values. Taking shortcuts by using AI to deliver our tuition short-changes our students, and it’s usually easy to spot when AI has been used – so we simply won’t do it.
In particular, we won’t use AI to:
- Create teaching materials
- Deliver tuition or training sessions
- Provide progress updates to students
- Create content for our website or our social media pages
- Manage or schedule tuition or training sessions
With our No AI Guarantee, you can rest assured that you’ll be supported to achieve your aims by real people who care about helping you, not by a machine.
