Where can I find your new YouTube channel?

You can also find a YouTube icon at the bottom of each page of our website. Clicking on this will also take you to our channel page on YouTube.
In addition, we’ve added links to our channel on the Latest News and Contact Us pages of our website.

What will I find on your new YouTube channel?

You’ll find a variety of helpful videos covering various topics related to the subjects we provide tutoring for, such as:

• Exam question walkthroughs for GCSE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths
• Proofs of mathematical results
• Tips and tricks for using Excel and Microsoft Office
• Explanations of Excel functions
• Tips and tricks for using computers, smartphones or tablets
• Interesting facts about maths, Microsoft Office or computers you might not know

Our YouTube channel also gives us the opportunity to publish longer videos than we can on our other social media pages. This means we can publish videos about more detailed and involved topics, such as:

• Full exam paper walkthroughs for GCSE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths
• Detailed explanations of mathematical results
• Longer and/or more complex exam questions, such as STEP questions
• Advanced Excel functions and features
• VBA programming tutorials
• Multi-step procedures for performing tasks in Microsoft Office or on a computer, smartphone or tablet

We also plan to create an introductory video highlighting the tuition and training services we offer in the near future – watch this space.

How can I follow the channel?

The best way to follow our YouTube channel is to subscribe. To do this, visit our YouTube channel page by clicking on the button above, and then click on the ‘Subscribe‘ button:

Subscribing is completely free and helps our videos to appear on both your feed and other people’s feeds, so they can also find and benefit from our videos.

Once you’ve subscribed, the ‘Subscribe’ button above will change to say ‘Subscribed‘. A small bell icon will also appear on the left of the button, as shown below.

By clicking on the ‘Subscribed’ button, you can choose to enable notifications for our channel by selecting ‘All‘ or ‘Personalised‘ from the menu which appears. If you do this, YouTube will send you a notification to let you know when we’ve uploaded a new video:

If you find a video useful, don’t forget to also give it a like. You can do this by clicking on the thumbs-up icon underneath the video (circled in red below):

Doing this also helps the video to appear in other people’s feeds, so that they can find and benefit from the video. It’s always nice when we see people enjoying and liking our content!

Will you be offering channel memberships, a Patreon page, sponsorships or similar?

These aren’t currently available, but we certainly plan to offer schemes such as channel memberships once the channel becomes bigger.

We’ll let you know in the future if we decide to set up a channel membership scheme or similar for our YouTube channel.

For now, our focus is on uploading videos and growing the channel. The best way you can support our channel is to like our videos and subscribe to the channel as outlined in the section above.

Will your new YouTube channel affect Become a Genius Tuition’s other social media pages?

Absolutely not – we’ll continue to post regular videos and updates on all of our existing social media pages, as we do currently.

As our social media pages become more established, we may make a decision in the coming months to streamline our social media output and focus on optimising our content for certain platforms. We’ll provide any updates on this in due course.
